The Estimating Measurement Uncertainty Kit is designed to help labs with their ISO 17025 journey. This kit is useful for labs that are new to the ISO 17025 standard as well as accredited labs that want simple, accurate, high-quality measurement uncertainty estimates.

The ISO 17025 Measurement Uncertainty kit contains two quality procedures and an Excel template for calculating and reporting measurement uncertainty. The numbering scheme and format of the procedures coincide with that used in the ISO 17025:2005 Quality Manual Template offered exclusively through ISO/IEC 17025.

ISO 17025 Uncertainty Calculator and Report key features:

  • Four worksheets for entering, calculating and reporting measurement uncertainty. By default, all worksheets are protected to prevent unintentional alterations. However, the sheets may be unprotected at any time to permit customization.
  • Professionally formatted uncertainty estimate certificates (preview now).
  • Hover help- available wherever a red triangle appears in the upper right corner of a cell.
  • Automatic R+R calculations - automatically calculates the average, standard deviation, sample size and degrees of freedom from a set of data.

The ISO 17025 Measurement Uncertainty Calculator includes the following four Microsoft Excel worksheets:

1. Step by step procedure for using the spreadsheet
